The estate is incredibly beautiful, with amazing views from every room. We especially loved the heated floors in the bathroom, and the way room service put a hot water bottle in our bed every evening. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, helping us get a taxi when we struggled, and always made sure we had everything we needed. We found the location to be convenient, close enough to both Stellenbosch and Franschoek to allow an easy drive to wineries, restaurants and hiking. We really enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel, and had dinner there one evening as well and were very pleased with the food and the service. Altogether a beautiful, comfortable and enjoyable stay.

It was out 4th stay over 8 years and we definitely need to make our visits more frequent and for longer!! It is paradise and always have such a great time. Their restaurant serves tasty dishes and we always stock up on most of their wine selection. Delaire Graff and Tokara restaurants are walking distance but we were kindly given lifts. Elaine, manageress, is so kind and made our stay even better. You always get spoiled with choice at breakfast and always have delicious treats & bottle of wine in room. Views from all angles, to die for. Just want to share this gem with everyone we know, just too good to keep a secret.

the whole experience from walking through the doors was incredible. Unlike most hotels where you are shown to your room and left to your own devices, the gentleman at Clouds greeted us with a glass of bubbles, let us sit down and take in the experience before showing us to our room. Then, after finding out that it was our honeymoon trip the same amazing gentleman arranged a special turn down service with rose petals and chocolate brownies! The complimentary mini bar was also a really nice touch. I can’t recommend Clouds Estate enough.

The inn has the feel of an art gallery. It is beautifully decorated. Located between the two major wine region towns. We were provided with a complementary bottle of their estate wine and snacks. The wine was excellent! We were there off season but they kept kitchen open for our late dinner which was delicious. Clouds has a back gate to shuttle you to winery next door for your enjoyment of their wonderful restaurant. Breakfast at Clouds was very nice.

Great location and small boutique feel. Great view. Traffic noise somewhat intrusive, our room (6) had a balcony that was also a corridor and it was near the generator so noisy. Restaurant staff OK but food underwhelming if good value. Great bed. Free wine much appreciated. £1,000 for three nights for two including two dinners and drinks. Great views. Walking access through vineyard to Delaire Graff next door - eat at Indochine.
